If you want to let your love shine with no fuss, just a warm welcome for your guests and the best of seasonal Irish cooking in an intimate, relaxed setting, then Moloughney’s is the place for your civil ceremony and/or wedding reception. The beautiful upstairs dining room can be booked exclusively and can cater for up to 70 guests. We will sit down with you to tailor the menu and the wine to your taste as well as your budget. We are happy to recommend local florists and suggest live music for any style of celebration. Just 3 miles from the city centre, Moloughney’s is adjacent to St John the Baptist Church on Clontarf Road and about 15 minutes drive from the Registry Office on Grand Canal Street. Moloughney’s is perfectly located for pre-reception photographs on the promenade with its iconic Bull Wall, or in St Anne’s Park & Rose Garden.
Moloughney’s can accommodate from 20 to 70 guests seated as a private dining room, or 100 standing for an informal canapés and drinks soiree. Upstairs can be hired any time during the day or for the full day and has been used for meetings, product launches, training days and wine tastings as well as wedding receptions, christenings and birthday parties. The dining room and bar are very versatile, and the space can be tailored to suit your event. We don’t generally charge for exclusive use of the upstairs area unless the minimum spend cannot be met on food and drinks (please see the FAQ below).
Contact Diane on 086 1831980 or at firstname.lastname@example.org to talk about tailoring our offering to your requirements.
